A Pre-Purchase Inspection is designed to help buyers make an informed decision before purchasing a vehicle. The inspection includes a detailed assessment of the vehicle’s safety, visible signs of wear and tear, electronic systems diagnostic scan report and overall condition to identify potential issues before you buy and provides a buyer advisory rating of Go, Caution, or Stop.
A Comprehensive Inspection is an extensive vehicle assessment that also provides buyer advisory rating of Go, Caution, or Stop along with a more in-depth evaluation of the vehicle, such as digital body damage assessment report, written-off, stolen history and previous financing history check through the Australian Financial Security Authority and odometer tampering check (where available). A comprehensive inspection also incorporates a more detailed inspection of brake components.

How are These Inspections Different from a Roadworthy Inspection?
A Roadworthy Inspection (RWC) is a basic safety inspection required to ensure a vehicle meets the minimum safety standards for use on public roads in Victoria. It mainly focuses on safety-related items such as tyres, brakes, steering, suspension, lights, and seatbelts.
In contrast, our Pre-Purchase and Comprehensive Vehicle Inspections provide a far more detailed assessment of the vehicle’s overall condition, including mechanical health, electronic system diagnostics, battery condition, body damage assessment, previous accident indicators, written-off and stolen history checks, odometer verification (where available), and buyer advisory reporting to help you make a more informed purchasing decision.
